It's been a great weekend in Valle Argentina. In addition to the balmy weather (18 degrees), we had two days of great festa in Taggia in honor of San Benedetto, its patron saint. Here we
share some highlights of the 1625 battle reeanactment and the Corteo Storico, the culmination of the festivity.
Over the weekend the clock turned back to 1625, the year when the people of Taggia managed to protect themselves from Saracen invasion thanks to San Benedetto's wise advice. For 35 years
now they've paid homage to their patron saint with spectacular historical reenactments and festivities during the last weekend of February.
